Our Mobile Harvesting Unit offers a boost of flexibility when dealing with specialty breeds, such as Bison, which are less convenient to load/transport. Along with the added flexibility of Mobile Harvesting, onsite slaughter also provides a sought-after bonus for Producers who are geared towards eliminating the potential of added stress to their livestock. The Mobile Harvesting Unit along with the Custom Craft Butcher Shop are specifically designed to process up to 20 head per week, including farm raised Elk and Bison. Midwest Meats’ mission involves the processing of locally sourced livestock, while including an offering of specialty cuts such as Grass Fed & Grass Finished Beef, Wagyu Beef, and Heritage Pork, which can all be found locally among the many producers in dire need of local processing services.
